The abstracts should be written in English on one page (A4) with headline, author(s), address (es), text, maximum up to 250 words. Authors should indicate the topic area and whether they would an oral presentation or a poster. The final decision will be made by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts may be sent as e-mail attachments to Diāna Meiere miko@dabasmuzejs.gov.lv

Full papers of the abstracts presented at the Symposium, both orally or in a poster, will be published in the Proceedings Book.

The Symposium will be held in Līgatne Hotel of the Rehabilitation Center "Līgatne" 70 km from Riga.

Ligatne is one of the most beautiful picturesque places on the Gauja River. The village of Ligatne was formed around the paper mill of Ligatne on the Ligatne River in the 19th century.

Ligatne is situated in the Gauja National Park (http://www.gnp.lv/eng/index.htm).
